How to obtain a certificate of self-employed person?

The requirements for submitting your UTR document are very specific and the verification takes 2 days, so if it is wrong your payment may be delayed.

Please follow these instructions very carefully to avoid rejection and having to repeat the process.

You can either provide a screenshot by sign-in from the HMRC website:

1. Go to your 'Account Home'

2. Take a screenshot of the entire page

3. Make sure the following are visible:

• Your name
• The UTR number

4. Upload it to your profile in the Earnings section
